Happy Valentine's Day, lovebugs. I'm not a big celebrator of this Hallmark holiday, despite my propensity for all things chocolate, pink and covered in glitter. But since all the cool kids are doing it, here's a very special V-Day Three Things.
1. My husband and I (married for 5 years come June) didn't technically date in high school, but for all due intents and purposes, we were high school sweethearts. This makes me feel like a walking cliche, but I couldn't be happier that for more than a decade, my Valentine has also been my best friend (cue the "awwwws").
2. I'm lucky to have someone who is willing to fight my disease with me, and every single day Luke helps me do what it takes to be healthy, whether it's gently reminding me to take my vitamins, guinea-pigging questionable GF products for me, or standing up for me when I don't have the heart to do it for myself. If you or someone you know loves a celiac, check out this video that the Celiac Diva made. It's got some pretty good advice.
3. There's a great list out there for anyone who is looking for some GF Valentine's candy. You might be thinking, "Why on earth would we need this list now? The holiday is almost over!" Two words: Clearance sale. Be safe out there tomorrow rummaging for discount chocolates, kids.
